Alpine launches new Online Showroom for digital customers

Time 8:36 am, August 3, 2020

French sports car brand Alpine has added an ‘Online Showroom’ to its website.

Customers will be able to experience the A110 sports car at home and guided in real time by an Alpine Advisor, according to the firm.

When visiting Alpine UK’s website, customers will be able to view the A110 Legende and A110S in a one-to-one appointment where the advisor can provide a tour around the cars and share detailed information.

If the service is busy, customers can make an appointment to come back later or if the advisor is available the live tour will start immediately.

Alpine says the one-to-one tour gives the same level of service a customer would receive if they visited a dealer showroom.

The Alpine Online Showroom is open seven days a week, between midday to 8pm.

Regis Fricotte, Alpine commercial director, said: ‘With our latest Alpine Online Showroom, we are bringing the same bespoke retail experience our customers are used to when visiting our physical retail sites to the comfort of their home.

‘Now, more than ever, customers are seeking convenience and excellent service when looking to make a car purchase and the Alpine Online Showroom demonstrates our continued commitment to tailor the car-buying journey to the demands of our customers with virtual viewings.’

The demonstrations take place in a dedicated facility located at Thruxton with limited staff in accordance with Covid-19 guidance.

Alpine’s virtual showroom follows on from other digital offerings from PSA Group for its Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall and DS Automobiles brands, as reported by Car Dealer.

In a recent Car Dealer Live interview, DS UK boss Alain Descat said the firm was introducing a virtual dealership as a response to customer demand.
