PEUGEOT is riding high after a successive November with strong growths in their car and LCV sales figures.
Car sales were up 7.7 per cent in November – strong fleet and diesel sales, and Peugeot’s Just Add Fuel programme contributed to this.
The firm sold more than 7,617 cars, giving a market share of 5.45 per cent – up from November 2009 which managed 4.78 per cent. The 3008 performed well; it accounted for nearly 17 per cent of Peugeot’s total sales in the month.
Peugeot’s Just Add Fuel programme – which enables customers to purchase a new car with the piece of mind of a single monthly payment – performed well with the 3008, 5008 and RCZ.
The Blipper is the star of the Peugeot LCV range for the little van increased its sales by more than 105 per cent compared to 2009. Peugeot says the Blipper and strong sales of the Expert and Boxer vans allowed the firm’s LCV sales to increase by 24.2 per cent in a market up by 18.7 per cent.
