EVERYONE loves a Fast Ford and in the next issue of Car Dealer we’ve put four legends to the test.
To mark the Blue Oval’s centenary in the UK we decided to delve into Ford’s heritage collection and grab the keys to some incredible cars.
We were given access to the Ford Technical Centre at Dunton, Essex, where the Car Dealer team got to try the Sierra RS Cosworth, Escort RS Cosworth and both the MK1 and 2 Focus RS.
We’ve also chatted to the dealers that have made the RS brand a success in the UK since a specialist unit was set up to produce them more than 40 years’ ago.
To get you in the mood we’ve produced this video of our day with the legends. Don’t expect Top Gear style commentary, but it is worth watching for James Batchelor’s facial expressions, his ‘tache and his inability to count while speed testing an Escort Cosworth.
