THE first of Mitsubishi’s new Mirage superminis have arrived on Britain’s shores.
Arriving in showrooms this March, the Mirage replaces the Colt B-segment supermini in Mitsubishi’s range, and is set to rival the likes of the Nissan Micra.
Low running costs are said to be the Mirage’s key selling point, with low CO2 emissions meaning that all models across the range currently benefit from free road tax.
‘The new Mirage is the perfect car for its time and I’m confident it will be a popular addition to the Mitsubishi family,’ commented Mitsubishi Motors in the UK’s managing director, Lance Bradley.
‘With the Mirage, we have focused on the traditional values of the supermini segment to create a family car which delivers comfort, performance, excellent environmental credentials and superb fuel economy for an outstanding price, and with absolutely no road tax on any of the range.’
