The group is planning to expand the dealership, based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, to include more new and used cars – and also introduce Nissan’s Cared4 used car programme.

Colin Appleyard Group – whose head office is also in Keighley – operates a multitude of dealerships in the area, mostly offering Suzuki cars and motorcyles.

The group currently has branches in Huddersfield, Shipley and even Ashton-Under-Lyne in Greater Manchester – and started over 40 years ago, as the first UK dealer to be awarded a Suzuki franchise.

‘We are delighted to have completed this acquisition which will sit well alongside our long established Suzuki dealership in the town as well as offering customers more choice,’ managing director Robin Appleyard told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

‘It is our intention to introduce all existing Nissan customers to Colin Appleyard’s uniquely friendly and professional approach to customer service.

‘It is something we pride ourselves on and the reason why many of our customers return time and time again.’
