Time 10:34 am, August 8, 2011

alfa-romeo-multiair2011 has continued to be a successful sales year for Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo in the UK.

According to the SMMT’s latest new car registration statistics, the marque recorded a year-to–date market share increase of 65.07 per cent – more than 70 per cent above the industry average, when compared to July 2010 year-to-date figures.

For month-on-month comparison, Alfa Romeo recorded a positive market growth of 34.76 per cent in July 2011 versus July 2010, in contrast to the market share average which saw manufacturer volumes decrease by 3.53 per cent.

Consumer confidence in the Italian brand is the cause says Alfa Romeo. A top 10 positioning in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study, and a new ‘peace of mind’ package have all helped.

The new package extends to all Giulietta and MiTo customers and includes up to five years or 50,000 miles complimentary servicing.
