New car prices rise

least-and-most-reliable-superminis-outTHE average price of new cars increased for the second month in a row in February 2011, latest figures from DrivenData reveal.

The average price rose by 0.21 per cent or £59.00 from £28,096 to £28,155.00.

DrivenData has also revealed that the average new price since March 1, 2010 has increased by 3.820 per cent or £1,037.01 – from £27,117.99 to £28,155.00.
