BCA has announced that it is undertaking a major expansion to its operation in Bedford.
The works will include new valet, appraisal and vehicle imaging services on a ten-acre site adjacent to the existing remarketing centre, alongside a new training facility.
The build, by Wildgoose Construction, is scheduled for completion in September 2017. Around 300 jobs will be created during the construction programme.
The building programme involves the construction of a de-fleet and vehicle storage compound and new valet, appraisal and vehicle imaging facilities. The ten-acre development plan, on the site of a former brickworks within the Coronation Business Park, will build capacity and enhance the range of services available.
A two-storey building is also being constructed on the site, featuring a state-of-the-art staff training facility, alongside office space, marketing suites, staff rooms and meeting rooms.
Avril Palmer-Baunack, executive chairman, BCA Marketplace plc said: ‘The ongoing investment and development of our network and services underlines our commitment to deliver industry-leading capacity and create efficient solutions and economies of scale spanning new vehicle, in-life and de-fleet services.’
