BCA has responded to significant demand from buyers in the south-west and Wales by launching a new commercial vehicle sale at its Bridgwater remarketing centre in Somerset.
It sees LCV sales taking place on alternate Wednesdays, featuring commercial vehicles from Lex and UKCGR.
Jon Gilbert, pictured, business development director for commercial vehicles at BCA, said: ‘The team in Bridgwater has done sterling work to successfully deliver this all-new sales programme.
‘Sale entry has doubled to around 150 units in a matter of weeks, underlining the demand from both vendors and buyers, and the new sales programme is recording high levels of conversion and price performance.
‘The new programme is attracting plenty of support from buyer customers located in the south-west and Wales, with strong engagement both in-lane and online. It suits those buyers who don’t find it easy to locate stock but prefer to source stock locally.’
He added: ‘We will be expanding this new LCV sales platform into a weekly format at Bridgwater and there are a number of additional vendors eager to participate.’
The successful launch of the programme builds on the ongoing expansion of the commercial vehicle auction programme at BCA. The company has the capacity to offer more than 2,000 vans a week, with at least one sale every day within the UK remarketing network.
