Bitten by the Honda bug – family buys 30 cars from the same dealership

Time 12:19 pm, February 12, 2016

A FAMILY of Honda fans have bought an astonishing 30 cars made by the Japanese manufacturer from a dealership in Hertfordshire.

Since 2004, Debra and John Higginson – and a number of their family members – have been regular visitors to the Brayleys Honda showroom in St Albans.

From the moment they purchased their first car, a used Honda Civic 1.4, the Higginsons got the Honda bug and, 12 years later, they’ve owned almost every model in the line-up.

Whether it’s the Jazz, the Civic Type R – in fact, they’ve had six of these – the Accord or the Insight, the family won’t drive anything but Hondas.

Perry Clive, the sales executive who has looked after the Higginsons since they first walked into the showroom, said: ‘The names Honda and Higginson are like peas in a pod. Debra, John and their family are true advocates of the brand and it’s always a delight to welcome them, as they have such passion for Honda cars.

‘Brayleys has been in business since 2003 and there’s no doubt that the Higginsons are in the top spot in terms of cars bought by one family.’

Collecting their 30th Honda recently, a new Jazz, Debra Higginson added: ‘From the moment we went into Brayleys Honda all those years ago, we felt at home.

‘Perry was the first sales advisor we dealt with and he went the extra mile to ensure we had the Honda that suited us at a price we were comfortable with.

‘Twelve years and a whole family of Hondas later, we would recommend Brayley Honda’s excellent customer service without reservation.’
