BCA OPENED the expanded remarketing facilities at its Nottingham centre with the highly successful launch of a new BMW Group sales programme.

The launch sale featured a superb selection of 499 vehicles including several desirable 66-plate i8 models, offered through the new back-to-back auction lanes at BCA Nottingham.

A large number of customers attended the launch event both in-lane and online, with buyers representing the BMW Group franchise network, car supermarkets and retail specialists bidding competitively throughout the sale, purchasing a total of 489 vehicles.

Stuart Pearson, the chief operating officer of BCA’s UK remarketing operation, said: ‘We were delighted to formally open the expanded facilities at our BCA Nottingham remarketing and defleet centre with the successful launch of this new BMW Group sales programme.

‘Once again, BMW Group provided a superb selection of stock and our buyers turned out in large numbers to bid strongly.’

He added: ‘The new facilities at Nottingham gained positive and complimentary feedback from the customers attending on the day, with the new back-to-back auction lanes giving buyers even more opportunity to bid.’

The new back-to-back two-lane complex at BCA Nottingham adds significantly to the facility’s volume, efficiency and throughput. With capacity for 500 vehicles undercover and an enhanced and expanded sales programme featuring additional events and specialist auctions, BCA Nottingham will sell up to five days a week.

Pearson concluded: ‘The Nottingham development is part of BCA’s ongoing strategy to enhance its remarketing and defleet network across the major conurbations of the UK, with Nottingham, Bedford, Manchester and Blackbushe all offering selling capacity in excess of 100,000 vehicles annually.’
