Time 5:20 am, September 24, 2013

iphoneCAR Dealer Magazine has given the mobile version of its website a major overhaul.

The dramatic refresh has been made to give mobile users of the publication’s website a more enjoyable and user-friendly experience.

Headlining the changes are a streamlined appearance, new fonts and, for the first time, images accompanying stories on the homepage.

The mobile website also includes a bold-looking slider at the top of the page allowing navigation around the site to be easier than ever before.

Car Dealer’s new mobile version of its website is in tune with current trends too. According to a recent Google survey, 74 per of visitors to a website are more likely to return in the future if the website is mobile-friendly. The search engine also found that 75 per cent of users prefer a mobile-friendly website to a normal one.

James Baggott, managing director of Blackball Media – Car Dealer Magazine’s parent company – said: ‘Our website has had a mobile theme for the past 12 months, but this new overhaul is sure to keep our readers happy.’

Baggott added: ‘Along with our free to download iPhone and iPad apps, this new mobile-friendly website is further proof Car Dealer is the go-to destination for all those in the motor trade.’
