CitNOW partnership with Auto Trader sees greater integration of 360-degree tech

Time 3:03 pm, September 5, 2019

CITNOW’S partnership with Auto Trader has seen its 360-degree imagery technology fully integrated into the digital car buying platform’s website.

Offering a more immersive and in-depth experience, the integration of CitNOW Web’s 360-degree imagery will be trialled as the first option on Auto Trader’s imagery carousel to help drive greater customer interaction and encourage enquiries through to retailers.

Able to publish digital assets online in under an hour, CitNOW’s Web app helps retailers get new vehicle listings onto their websites more efficiently, with consistent, professional-quality imagery and video to engage with potential buyers.

With buyers spending up to 60 seconds longer on adverts with video, according to consumer research by Auto Trader in 2018, enhanced 360-degree imagery could help retailers easily improve their customer engagement among car buyers.

Carol Fairchild, commercial director at CitNOW, said: ‘Auto Trader is the leading classified marketplace in the UK, and integrating our 360-degree and video technology means retailers can improve their ad quality, making their car the star, increasing trust and transparency.’

Auto Trader’s director of commercial products, Karolina Edwards-Smajda, commented: ‘We’re excited to partner with CitNOW to incorporate this innovative technology onto our marketplace, which we believe will further help retailers stand out in today’s increasingly challenging and competitive market.’
