Harratts scoops award

Time 7:37 pm, September 5, 2011

hvw-trad-stand-1HARRATTS Volvo Wakefield is celebrating after being awarded the Trading Standards Excellence Award.

This is the fifth time in a row the family-owned and run motor group has won the award, and scooped it in recognition of its outstanding customer service.

Presenting the award to Gareth Bottomley, dealer principal of Harratts Volvo Wakefield, were Graham Hebblethwaite, chief officer of West Yorkshire Trading Standards and Wakefield Councillor June Drysdale.

Bottomley said: ‘To win this award for the previous four years was accolade enough but to win five years running is a fantastic endorsement of the quality of our customer care and our ability to deal with any potential issues, should they occur.

‘At Harratts we pride ourselves on offering the very best service, care and support to all our customers and we are pleased that this has been recognised for five years by Trading Standards.

‘The motor industry is not necessarily famed for its superb customer service, so we are pleased to buck that trend.’
