motors.co.ukMOTORS.co.uk will provide an innovative new finance calculator ‘widget’ as a no-cost option to all of its dealer customers from August.

The development will be delivered through an ongoing partnership with leading vehicle retail solutions business iVendi, with a target for all Motors.co.uk dealer customers selecting the option to be live by the end of September 2014.

Andy Coulthurst, managing director of Motors.co.uk, said: “We have huge demand from dealers for this product. We’ve decided to invest in the technology and offer it as a free upgrade for our partners. Each operation is a bespoke set-up and we aim to have everyone live on the system by the end of September.’

Dealers choosing to feature a finance calculator on their stock will have the flexibility of selecting their own interest rates. Coulthurst adds: ‘The feedback we received from dealers was that they did not want a ‘one-size-fits–all’ solution; each will retain flexibility in the finance offer they present to customers based around their individual business requirements.’

As an additional upgrade, dealers selecting the calculator can partner directly with iVendi and feature its carfinancechecker.com product on their vehicle details page to generate finance-profiled qualified leads on a cost-per-lead basis.

Richard Tavernor at iVendi, said: ‘Our product is proven to transition in-market car buyers quickly from research to purchase and we have many dealer customers already using carfinancechecker.com on their own websites who are keen to extend their reach to the Motors.co.uk product immediately upon launch.’

He adds: ‘I believe that our combined expertise in search and finance has produced a cutting-edge product which delivers a seamless solution for both dealer and consumer.’

The carfinancechecker.com product will supply qualified finance leads directly to the dealer, who is then able to place the business with their chosen lender.
