GardX to increase product penetration with new video platform for dealers

GardX International has pushed forward with its digital offering by acquiring a majority shareholding in B2See Video.

B2See Video is an innovative automotive video business specialising in sales, aftersales, marketing, social media and merchandising videos.

Founded by Ben McDowell and Jonathan Hermans, it has established itself as an agile provider of video services by offering bespoke development and providing a significant financial advantage to car dealers.


The move will see GardX continue to develop its digital strategy. The all-new merchandising video module is designed specifically to increase penetration of paint protection, insurance products and GardX Wheelgard. Some dealers are already reporting an extra 10 per cent in product penetration and the incremental profit from this strategy, it said.

GardX digital director Billy Coutin said: ‘As the car-buying journey continues to become more internet-based, the need to use innovative solutions to ensure dealers can present the right products to their consumers at multiple parts of the sales process has become paramount to retain dealer profitability.

‘We see B2See video as a perfect way to complement our existing SpinCar platform to keep consumers engaged throughout the sales journey. With the addition of the sales, aftersales, marketing and social media modules, we believe we have a complete solution that we can offer to our dealers to cover all areas of vehicle presentation and product merchandising for a substantial commercial saving.’
