TOYOTA has unveiled some new additions to its model range – from a revised Avensis to a seven-seater Prius.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, punters will be able to get their first look at the new Avensis. The d-segment car has received a make-ver included a bolder, more dynamic nose, better interior fixtures and fittings and a brand new colour – a darker red to which brings ‘added maturity to the Avensis range’.
The seven-seater Prius, the Prius +, also made its European debut at the show. Toyota is calling it the first European MPV to have seven-seats and a full hybrid powertrain. It’s also been built from the ground up – it is not an elongated Prius – and will go on sale early next year.
The new Prius+ is joined by a face-lifted Prius range and the new Prius Plug-In, and the show also saw the debut of the three-door Yaris and revised Hilux range.
