INCHCAPE UK’s Cooper BMW Reading dealership has forged a partnership with Morvélo Basso.
The luxury car retailer has provided the cycling team with a BMW 3 Series Touring, which will support the activities of the team as they train and race across the UK during 2019. It will carry spare wheels and bikes to aid in any mechanical situations and also ensure there is nutrition nearby so the team can perform at its best.
Paul Glister, head of business for Cooper BMW Reading, said: ‘The BMW 3 Series Touring is a true athlete – sporty handling combined with top-class efficiency and a 1,500-litre boot capacity, which ensures it’s perfectly equipped for almost any adventure.
‘Our support is helping the team continue on its journey safely. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to seeing the team progress in 2019.’
Adam Moore, team owner/manager of Morvélo Basso, said: ‘The partnership with Cooper BMW is fundamental in helping the team to develop and achieve its goals for 2019.
‘Knowing we have a fantastic brand behind us gives us peace of mind that when the team is travelling and racing all around the UK we have a reliable and efficient support vehicle.
‘Being sponsored by such a forward-thinking and innovative company like Cooper BMW is a natural fit, combining two brands who want to connect people through the power of cycling.’
