iVendi begins upgrading 4,500 dealers on to new motor finance tool

Time 5 years ago

IVENDI has started upgrading 4,500 dealers who are existing customers on to its new, second-generation plug-in ‘Website Widget’.

The advanced tool allows dealers to add key motor finance elements to their website, including a finance calculator, a comparator view of different finance products and a finance qualification pre-checker – giving car buyers instant, at-a-glance information in a manner that offers complete transparency and choice.

Tracey Green, vice-president of product at iVendi, said the widget had been created as an easy-to-use and easy-to-implement way for dealers to offer online motor finance.

She said: ‘The Widget enables car buyers to quickly gain an overview of the dealer’s finance products, to vary deposits and terms, and to ultimately find the deal that works best for them. They can then check for the likelihood of approval.

‘All of this works with almost any panel of lenders and can be immediately branded and colour-matched to the dealer’s own existing website design and configured with various options, including sliders or drop downs to adjust values.’

Green added that the 4,500 dealers included all types of dealership, from the smallest to largest franchises and many different kinds of independent.

‘Crucially, because the Widget was designed ‘‘mobile first’’, it works brilliantly on smartphones and tablets as well as on laptops and desktop PCs, and also delivers an impressive level of FCA compliance for dealers selling motor finance.

‘We have been trialling the product with a number of dealers and the reception has been very good. The changeover process is quick and painless, and we expect most of our media company partners to be able to integrate the new widget imminently.’

The Website Widget is the entry point into iVendi’s new range of web solutions, which will soon grow to incorporate a whole range of plug-in website tools.
