iVendi moves to new Manchester offices as staff numbers grow

Time 11:20 am, December 3, 2018

IVENDI has moved its software development team to new offices in Manchester with three times the space of its previous building.

The new premises, in Clippers Quay, cover 6,400 square feet and will initially house around 45 staff – a number that has grown from 25 since the start of the year.

The space has been designed to be as flexible and productive as possible, with meeting pods, couches, a large kitchen and canteen, and giant touchscreens.

James Tew, CEO at iVendi, said: ‘A year ago, we announced plans to massively increase our Manchester team as part of the company’s ongoing expansion and we now have a very sizeable, capable and flexible development capacity.

‘These people need the right kind of environment in which to do their best work and the new offices provide just that. The space we have created is cutting edge in many important respects with the best technology and meeting options.

‘As a business, we continue to grow at an impressive pace and this move should see us through our next phase of expansion. We have several new deals and new products coming to market that we will be able to announce soon that will show the industry just how quickly online motor retailing is gaining futher traction.’

iVendi’s head office premises will continue to be based in Colwyn Bay, where there are a further 40 staff involved in functions such as finance and support.
