A NEW online motor finance customer application form ‘couldn’t be more up-to-date’ according to its creators, iVendi.
The form is now being rolled out to manufacturers, dealers and motor finance providers who use the company’s Quoteware motor finance quote generator and Car Finance Checker motor finance eligibility tools.
iVendi director James Tew said: ‘The form is responsive, so will work extremely well with almost any tablet or smartphone as well as traditional PCs and is designed very much with helping ensure FCA compliance in mind.
‘It includes a number of FCA-related affordability questions for customers and is linked to a newly-created animated video explaining everything from how we will use their data to the advantages of applying online.
‘Really, it couldn’t possibly be more up-to-date. This is a very ‘‘now’’ way of interacting with motor finance customers online.’
Tew added that the form had been designed with the involvement of a number of motor finance lenders.
He said: ‘All of them have slightly different needs and also diverging views about the way in which they want to ensure FCA compliance, so this has been accommodated within customised versions of the form.
‘An interesting point to note is that our data analysis shows that where customer recognition of a motor finance brand is high, online users are more likely to fill in the form. Brand recognition is directly linked to online trust, it appears.’
