Leighton Brent joins James & Jenkins

CAR dealer James & Jenkins has made two key appointments to its finance team it’s been announced.

The family-run new and used car dealership in Cardiff says its made the appointments as part of plans to take the business through a period of growth.

Leighton Brunt joins James & Jenkins as dealership accountant and Caroline Wong is hired as business manager.


Brunt will be responsible for all aspects of day to day financial control of the business and Wong will advise and assist customers on funding options and insurance purchases.

Announcing the new appointments, managing director of James & Jenkins, Mark James, said: ‘Both Leighton and Caroline have a strong background in the motor industry and will become an integral part of James & Jenkins, gaining wide-ranging knowledge of our operations through their role at our dealership.’

Caroline Wong joins as business manager

Previously a dealership accountant at Sytner BMW in Cardiff, Leighton has extensive experience within the industry. Commenting on his new role, Brunt said: ‘James & Jenkins has a fantastic offering in the marketplace, and being a family run business it has worthwhile values and a team with a breadth of experience.’


Looking forward to her new challenge, Wong said: ‘James & Jenkins’ growth and achievements in the last few year have been impressive, with a turnover of over £13m it shows tenacity and resilience in a tough market, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the company’s continued expansion and growing reputation for great customer service.’

James & Jenkins is looking forward to an exciting six months ahead, as it launches a further two models from the Chrysler Group to meet the needs and demands of its customers.

The refreshed product range will give the company a chance to engage with its local market and play a part in developing the Chrysler brand in Wales.

The new range complements its approved Vauxhall and Renault after sales service activities, which still forms the core of the company’s business.
