The used car classified website has appointed creative and media buying agencies, Brave and MNC, confirming the brand’s serious intent to further drive traffic to its dealer customers, growing from its record-breaking summer figure of 2.1 million unique visitors.

Motors.co.uk, which received a multi-million pound consumer marketing injection from parent company, Manheim, earlier this year will be unveiling its TV advertising campaign in the latter part of 2013.

Andy Coulthurst, managing director of Motors.co.uk, said: ‘Significant investment in consumer marketing will be key to building our network of vehicles and dealer partners in the UK.

‘We have recently celebrated a number of record-breaking months on the back of our commitment to supporting dealers and our ambitious marketing plans will see the Motors.co.uk brand reaching an even wider audience.’

He added: ‘We aim to create a network which delivers a must-visit experience for consumers while adding value to dealers by increasing response and driving more customers to their forecourts.

‘Ultimately, it is all about helping motor retailers to sell more cars, more profitably. And we will achieve this by making the brand a consumer household name.’

Motors.co.uk now showcases more than 220,000 vehicles to more than 2.1 million unique visitors each month, and has recently launched a completely new website.

And from this month, expert car reviews from Parkers will appear next to Motors.co.uk cars for sale, meaning that prospective buyers can compare expert and customer views on specific vehicles.
