MOTORWAY Direct has announced changes to its selling of the AA Warranty product.
The changes will affect Motorway Direct dealers the company says.
The Sheffield-based firm has provided AA Warranty products since 2006, and its team is conducting a series of dealer reviews following the introduction of new best practice guidelines, including additional training and support created in partnership with the AA.
Under the new approach, Motorway Direct will limit the selling of AA Warranty products across its dealer base, as the firm commits to becoming closer aligned with its customers’ operations.
However the firm will continue to work with its non-AA selling dealers and is introducing a new portfolio of products and services specifically for these partners.
The changes are the result of a ‘renewed focus on customer service best practice’.
Simon Tennyson, managing director, said: ‘We have kick-started 2011 with a renewed focus on ensuring optimum customer service standards for the end user, and we relish the prospect of developing a more exclusive relationship with both AA Warranty and Motorway Direct dealers.
‘It will enable us to focus on maximising the business benefits of selling the AA Warranty products, as well as allocating brand new products and services to our remaining dealers.
‘New, more stringent standards of practice including further training and support are being put in place to ensure that all of our dealers and their end users benefit from the selling opportunities that we provide.’
