NEW Nissan dealership W R Davies has officially opened in a prime position in Stafford.
Owner Jonathan Davies and dealer principal Alan Poole cut the ribbon at the £3 million Valley Drive showroom alongside Nissan Motor (GB) managing director Alex Smith.
It encompasses Nissan’s luxurious new retail concept design, offering customers a comfortable and relaxing experience in welcoming and modern surroundings.
Entering the dealership, customers are greeted by a concierge service, where they can book in for appointments or make initial inquiries.
The new Nissan Qashqai, showcased under a canopy of light, is the first vehicle they see when they go in, with the full range of models also on show in a bright and airy space.
Staff use tablets to discuss vehicle options and go through the buying process.
At the centre of the dealership is a spacious area for families to relax in during their visit, with hot and cold drinks and a play area for young children.
Additionally, there’s an innovative design lab, where customers can explore the various personalisation options available across the range. Physical examples of trim and upholstery, as well as a touchscreen table, help customers visualise what their dream Nissan would look like in any colour combination.
More than 100 guests attended the official opening, which included a champagne afternoon tea as well as a performance of Christmas carols by a Salvation Army band, as part of the dealership’s connection with the charity and its Christmas gift appeal.
Davies said: ‘I am delighted so many of our customers and friends were able to join us for our grand opening, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Alex Smith for taking time out of his very busy schedule to attend this landmark event.
‘Hopefully everyone involved had a good time, especially with the wonderful rendition of carols performed by the Salvation Army. We’re really grateful to them for making the event extra special.’
