Time 9:10 am, August 14, 2019

SCOTTISH rugby player Finn Russell has officially kick-started Motorpoint’s Conversion Challenge in Glasgow.

The 26-year-old visited the independent car retailer in Mount Vernon to launch the company’s interactive outdoor game.

Designed to give rugby fans over the age of 18 the chance to put their kicking skills to the test, everyone visiting Motorpoint will be given one opportunity to successfully convert between the posts to be in with a chance of winning a trip to see the Italy v Scotland game next year in the Six Nations Championship at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Adam Gilmore, general manager of Motorpoint, said: ‘We’re extremely grateful to Finn for popping down to help get our Conversion Challenge under way at Motorpoint Glasgow. Everyone really enjoyed having Finn on site and showing us how to kick like a professional.’

The Racing 92 and Scotland fly half added: ‘I really enjoyed my time at Motorpoint and the opportunity to help Adam and the team kick-start their Conversion Challenge. If you like your rugby then I’d highly recommend getting yourself down to Motorpoint Glasgow with your kicking boots for a chance to win what really is a brilliant prize.’

The Motorpoint Conversion Challenge will be available for visitors to use until Saturday, November 2. The winner will be announced on Sunday, November 3.
