CITROEN has appointed a new dealer for south Lincolnshire – Rylatt & Sons.
The company has been carrying out repair work and services on Citroens for the past two years, but will now become a fully-fledged dealer.
Work has already started on building a new showroom in Elsoms Way, Spalding, which is set for completion in December.
General sales manager, Paul Morfitt, told his local newspaper, Spalding Today: ‘Our relationship with Citroen has been ongoing for about four or five years and we became a Citroen Authorised Repairer in 2011.
‘But there was a gap in the market as nobody in the area is currently looking after Citroen sales, so they decided to go forward with us.’
The new showroom will create a number of new jobs for people in the area – so much so, the firm is on the hunt for a new sales executive.
