SMART has launched a bright yellow special edition of its ForTwo, just in time for summer.
Called the Smart ForTwo Cityflame, it will be limited to just 200 examples, ranking it as one of the rarer cars on our roads.
It’s finished in eye-catching pearlescent Flame Yellow paint, contrasted against a black painted tridion safety cell – the Smart’s unique super-strong passenger compartment.
Also painted black are the grille, door mirror housings and the double-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels.
Mercedes has chosen to give the exterior a further lift with the fitment of BRABUS headlamp units in a titanium finish. Usually more associated with outrageously expensive and powerful Mercedes one-offs, BRABUS has put its name to previous Smart special editions in an attempt to impart some performance credibility to the tiny eco-hero.
The interior of the car mirrors the outside, with black seats (available in fabric or faux leather) inlayed with yellow detailing. Similarly finished are the dashboard, steering wheel and carpets, all featuring a yellow on black colour scheme.
The Cityflame is available in both coupe and convertible body styles with a choice of either the 74bhp Micro Hybrid Drive or 84bhp petrol engines.
It also comes loaded with standard kit, including air conditioning, automatic gearbox, electric windows and a ‘highline’ audio/navigation system.
The Smart ForTwo Cityflame range starts at £10,995, and will hit showrooms in May.
