ALREADY a Honda hat-trick hero, a fleet sales manager at Swansway Honda Manchester is on target to being named Honda UK Corporate Manager for the fourth consecutive year.
Having been based at the family-owned business on Chester Road for five years, Lee Yates first claimed the award in 2013 and has since gone on to receive the accolade every year.
In 2015, Yates sold 300 Honda units for the Japanese brand and has already taken his 300th order of 2016, just five months in to the year.
Sitting at the top of the Honda UK tree for sales in quarter one of 2016, Yates has won four days away in the Algarve for his outstanding achievement.
He said: ‘Perhaps my hard work ethic comes from when I left school at 16 – I got a job as a baker in Manchester and I worked there for five years, getting up at 4am in the morning and cycling an eighteen-mile round trip. After that experience, everything else seemed a breeze.’
David Smyth, Swansway Group director, added: ‘Lee is a real Swansway person. He works immensely hard to produce the results he does, at the same time embodying the Swansway caring, honest and proud values, with a big dose of fun thrown in for good measure. Well done Lee, another richly deserved award for quarter one.’
