EVANS Halshaw, one of the UK’s leading car retailers, has teamed up with British racing driver Tom Onslow-Cole to move its customers closer to the action with an adrenaline-fuelled campaign.
Move Me Closer To The Action launched yesterday. The ad features a 360-degree film of professional racer Onslow-Cole driving around Silverstone, announcing a competition to win a VIP experience at this summer’s British Grand Prix.
The competition, which runs until June 27, takes Evans Halshaw’s flagship Move Me Closer service, which enables customers to move their dream car to their nearest retailer, a big step forward.
The competition will offer one lucky winner and their guest the chance to experience the ultimate in VIP treatment, being hosted for the day by Onslow-Cole himself and enjoying the finest corporate hospitality with the best view of the racing action on July 10.
Emma Pochin, group marketing leader at Evans Halshaw, said: ‘We’re really excited to be launching this campaign, which not only gives customers the chance to win an incredible prize but also allows us to demonstrate our passion for all things automotive.
‘The Move Me Closer To The Action campaign is an evolution of our hugely popular Move Me Closer service, and the competition perfectly reflects our commitment to going the extra mile for customers. We’re thrilled to be working with Tom Onslow-Cole to offer this fantastic experience.’
Onslow-Cole added: ‘This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for F1 fans to get up close to the action, and I’m delighted to be working with Evans Halshaw to offer this prize, as well as launch this exciting new campaign. It was fantastic fun to film in 360 degrees at Silverstone, and really gives motorsport fans the chance to understand what it’s like driving around one of the most exciting circuits in the world!’
