WE can now reveal that the Wheeler Dealer Awards – sponsored by GardX – raised nearly £3,000 for charity!
Each attendee was issued with an envelope and asked to give as much as they could, in aid of the cancer charity Macmillan – a cause that Mike Brewer and his wife are big supporters of. Judging by the results, it’s clearly the season for giving – with a massive £2,712 raised!
Both Mike and the Car Dealer team would like to say a big thanks to everyone who left a donation – we couldn’t be more pleased with the figure that was raised.
We’ve also got the official pictures of the evening fresh back from the developers, now uploaded to a handy Flickr account. Click here to view them – and we apologise if the unlimited wine has had some undesired effects!
Still, the consensus is that a brilliant night was had – and at a fantastic venue. We’d like to thank The Brewery for being such gracious hosts, and all of our sponsors – in particular our headline sponsors GardX.
We’d also like to thank everyone who attended: Without you all, we wouldn’t have had an award ceremony in the first place. Here’s to you all, and we hope to see every one of you again at future events!
