Audi RS3 returns

Time 7:45 am, July 19, 2012

AUDI has announced it has managed to acquire a further 250 build slots of the RS3 Sportback.

The 250 units will be priced at £39,930 – the same price as last year’s initial 500 allocation – and is now available for order.

Audi says the model has made a comeback to UK showrooms due to ‘popular customer demand.’

Under the RS3’s bonnet lies a turbocharged 2.5-litre, five-cylinder petrol engine which pumps out 337bhp and 450Nm of torque.

Thanks is Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system and a standard seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission, the RS3 gets to 60mph in 4.4 seconds, and is limited to 155mph. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 31mpg.
