The south coast-based company has been given the certification in recognition of its quality management systems.

‘Receiving ISO 9001 status once again confirms the quality of our management systems and our compliance with quality processes and will give clients even more confidence when they choose to work with Douglas Stafford,’ said Douglas Stafford’s commercial director John Fieldhouse.

‘It shows them that when they put their performance improvement and mystery shopping analysis in our hands they are dealing with a company that puts delivering good customer service at the heart of its business.

‘Douglas Stafford is dedicated to the continual improvement of its products and services and the processes that we undertake in order to deliver them – and we are already beginning to see the extra benefits of applying the ISO 9001 processes.’

The ISO 9001 auditor reported to UKAS accredited certification body Certification International that ‘the Douglas Stafford QMS [Quality Management System] was one of the best systems he had come across, really well put together and despite ‘digging’ as hard as he could to find any issues, he couldn’t; it was that well-constructed and really well implemented by the company.’

Douglas Stafford works with a large proportion of leading motor manufacturers including Alfa Romeo, Audi, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Land Rover, Lexus, Renault, Seat, Toyota, Volkswagen UK plus Autoglass, HiQ and Kwik Fit.
