DEALERS can see archive videos of how manufacturers used to promote cars, thanks to a fantastic new resource.
Universal Motoring History has put its entire film archive online – and allows free access to videos from 1890 onwards.
It’s a fantastic way to see video that brings to life Car Dealer’s popular Legends series of features. That’s where we look back, to see the tricks and techniques manufacturers used to market cars.
Now, thanks to support including that of motor manufacturers, the auto-history.tv resource can show video footage of clips previously unseen for half a century.
More than 500 videos are there to be viewed, and if you’re like us, lunchtimes are never to be the same again…
