Manheim sells £1.5m

manheim_auctionMANHEIM Auctions Gloucester recently achieved a record sale worth nearly £1.5m it has been announced.

The sale saw 461 light commercial vehicles and trucks go under the hammer and attracted nearly 350 buyers, including 146 who logged on via Simulcast, resulting in very lively bidding.

Simulcast proved especially successful with 18 per cent of the vans and 58 per cent of the trucks sold on the day going to online bidders. Vendors included Arval, Hitachi Capital, Inchcape Fleet, Lex Autolease and Northgate.


James Davis, general manager, commercial vehicles, Manheim Remarketing said: ‘It was a great day for everyone at Gloucester especially following the announcement of the investment that created Europe’s largest dedicated commercial vehicle auction centre. With the site full of vehicles and the auction hall packed with buyers it demonstrated that the market is still strong.’
