Click Dealer enters main dealer sector with new website for Stephen James Group

Time 3:19 pm, October 31, 2018

CLICK Dealer has launched its first main dealer website with Stephen James Group.

This will be the first time the Car Dealer Power Award winner has worked outside of the independent dealer sector in its 19 year history.

With more than 1300 dealership customers across the UK, Click Dealer is already a market leader in used vehicle retailing solutions and is now focused on targeting more franchised dealership customers to add to its portfolio in 2019 and beyond.

Stephen James Group has four BMW and three Mini authorised centres serving Woolwich, Bromley, Enfield and Sidcup, as well as a BMW Urban Store in Bluewater Shopping Centre.

The slick new group website is tailored for the approved used customer journey, including full lead management, which is utilised by its in-house digital team.

Elements of ClickEngage are also in use as part of Stephen James’ new vehicle retailing offering, including part-exchange and lead capture, which is also fully processed by their own digital experts.

Click Dealer managing director Gerry Moxham said: ‘As a business we’d been looking for the right opportunity to enter the main dealer arena for some time and the Stephen James Group have proved to be an ideal fit with what they’re looking to achieve.

‘They’re an incredibly forward-thinking dealership, who focus on putting their customers first and in that respect, we were neatly aligned. They want to be able to let their website visitors do as little or as much of their buying journey online as they like, and through ClickEngage we have been able to provide the necessary functionality for the modern day consumer to interact with their digital showroom.

‘The Stephen James Group are well setup to achieve success in the future and as early adopters of online vehicle retailing, are sure to reap the rewards in the coming months and years.’

Stephen James Group sought Click Dealer out after hearing numerous favourable reviews from throughout the industry, with the intention of refreshing the look and feel of its online showroom, improving the functionality of its website and providing a more customer focused service.

The group recognised that customers are no longer happy operating only within standard working hours and want to interact with dealerships even when they’re closed. With the help of Click Dealer they provide a first-class experience for customers by using the ClickEngage advanced automated enquiry response tool.

Stephen James’ group operations director Richard Ennis said: ‘Click Dealer have been a dream to work with from day one of this project. We had heard about their market leading approach to customer service and to experience it first-hand really has made dealing with them an absolute pleasure.

‘Click are one of the most innovative companies in automotive right now and their tech, particularly ClickEngage, really is at the cutting edge and will provide us with an advantage, because we now cater for the modern-day consumer and how they like to browse and shop for vehicles.

‘We wanted a partner who could deliver a fantastic looking website, with a great user experience, putting the customer at the very heart of everything that we do and Click Dealer’s values have proved to be the perfect fit.’
