INDEPENDENT reports rate buyyourcar.co.uk as the most consistently high-ranking website for used car buyers.
Metrics included search times and Google ranking – and, of the 16 used car portals looked at, buyyourcar ranked in the top 5 for 75 per cent of the search terms searched for.
These included ‘second hand car’, ‘used cars’ and ‘used Volkswagen’. There’s a tip to apply to your own used car listings!
The report also revealed that Google accounts for more than 80 per cent of the UK search market – domination indeed. If you don’t have a good ranking here, you’re in trouble.
What’s more, it showed how the credit-crunched market is affecting buying trends. New car enquiries are down 25 per cent at the site. Used car enquiries are up by the same amount…
