24.12.09: Merry Christmas from Car Dealer!

Time 1:44 pm, December 24, 2009

photo-191YOU may be wondering what on earth the 118118 chap is doing staring at you from the right, but that is in fact the editor.

His facial fuzz is what he’s been referring to as his Christmas project, so we decided, being Christmas Eve and all, that we’d make him share it with you.

Let’s face it we all need a bit of humiliation and there’s no better time for that than Christmas, especially when he’s dozing under his desk after half a glass of sherry.

We know it’s Christmas Eve and you’re probably nowhere near your computer – but if you are, the Car Dealer team would like to wish you a very merry Christmas!

There’s no doubt 2009 has been a tumultuous year for the motor industry with highs and lows that will make for a seriously interesting chapter when someone writes the Great Book of Automotive History.

We’ve had a lot of fun covering the many breaking stories on our website and analysing them in Car Dealer every month. As well as driving a lot of nice cars…

We hope next year brings with it the upturn we’ve all been hoping for and pray the end of scrappage, the rise in VAT and a general election don’t cause as much woe as many are predicting.

Thanks for all your support throughout 2009 – we’ve got some big plans for next year and look forward to keeping you up to speed with the latest automotive news.

So, for now, have a very merry Christmas – a happy new year – and we hope the editor’s weirdy beardy hasn’t put you off your turkey!
