SANTANDER Consumer Finance has struck an exclusive deal to help people looking to buy Bombardier motorised recreational and power sport vehicles.
A range of retail finance options will be available through the Bombardier Recreational Products dealer network on vehicles including Can-Am’s Spyder range, all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles as well as its market-leading Sea-Doo Personal Watercraft.
Paul Munns, national sales manager (leisure finance) at Santander Consumer Finance, said: ‘We are delighted to be working alongside BRP, another premium manufacturer. This partnership enables us to continue to develop our unique approach within the automotive leisure industry.’
The agreement marks a further diversification of SCF’s activities beyond its core motor vehicle business. It already has agreements to provide finance for motorcycle brands KTM, Gas Gas and Husqvarna, and Munns added: ‘As we continue to build strong working relationships with leading motorcycle manufacturers, this exciting opportunity allows us to learn about new leisure products, in particular the personal water craft.
‘As well as providing dedicated leisure specialists to the dealer network, we have created bespoke finance solutions to suit the motorcycle and leisure sectors. Having already exceeded last year’s business results, this proves that our tailored approach is having an extremely positive effect with the dealers.’
