Time 5:04 pm, July 9, 2019

THE midlands-based Greenhous group has acquired Adams Morey, a company which runs commercial vehicle dealerships across the south of England.

Greenhous already handles the sales and servicing of Volkswagen commercial vehicles and DAF Trucks as well as Vauxhall, Ford and Nissan cars.

One of the Sunday Times’ top 100 privately-owned businesses, it is regularly ranked within the top-performing dealer groups in the UK.

Bosses at Greenhous were advised by financial experts from RSM, the leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services.

Steve Hubbard, corporate finance partner at RSM, said: ‘The deal brings together two complementary businesses which will enhance the reach and scale of Greenhous.

‘We’re delighted to have supported a long-standing client to achieve the next phase of growth as the business looks ahead to the future.’

The headquarters of Adams Morey is in Southampton and the company will continue to operate under its current name.

Derek Passant, chief executive of Greenhous Group, which is based in Osbaston, near Telford, told the Shropshire Star: ‘I welcome the 300-plus staff of Adams Morey to our company and look forward to further prosperity for Adams Morey.’
