The new feature will allow customers to reach dealers in a new, additional way – via a small chat window on each advert – and is designed to bridge the ‘online gap’ that can exist between the web and dealers.
The solutions, supplied by ContactAtOnce, are already well utilised on ‘every major’ USA-based motoring site – including Cars.com and AutoTrader.com.
ContactAtOnce is boasting many features of the software – including a mobile version. With companies like Microsoft and survey data from Nielsen suggesting that mobile device use is on the rise, it may well prove invaluable to dealers.
Nathan Coe, group director for AutoTrader UK, was pleased by the new integration.
