BCA and 2nd Byte join

088012600_1213086687.jpgREMARKETING has just become a whole lot easier, now BCA and 2nd Byte have announced a strategic partnership.

The deal gives manufacturers a new way to select and market their stock – to the widest possible audience.

It works by combining BCA’s established remarketing services – which provide an end-to-end service from initial entry on fleet through to disposal – with 2nd Byte’s internet-based electronic marketing tools. This provides transparency across the whole life of the vehicle… which, plain and simple, improves returns.

Vehicles spend fewer days in stock because of increased visibility earlier in the de-fleet cycle. Pre-determining refurbishment needs results in lower disposal costs, while storage and movement needs are also predicted. And time-to-sale can now be made spot-on accurate.

Vehicles are more likely to be channelled into the right place, at the right time.

Thus far, the two have driven £1.3bn of OEM stock through the franchise network. ‘It’s about getting cars presented at the earliest opportunity and with comprehensive build specification all wrapped up in an attractive package,’ said Alex Lowe, sales and marketing director at 2nd Byte.

‘This means we can achieve the highest possible return with maximum visibility whilst keeping fulfilment costs to a minimum.’
