CAP’s November update

Time 5:27 am, November 9, 2011

bca_car_auction_summerCAP has released its latest video which gives an update on the condition of the used car market in October.

It’s the fifth video from the firm which outlines the state of the UK’s used car market.

In the video, CAP Black Book’s editor, Mark Bulmer, says: ‘There is a shortage of quality used vehicles, and the auction arena is very, very light on quality stock.

‘Where you do find them you will have to pay premium money for them – we don’t see that position changing particulalry at the three-year old point, and we expect those vehicles to be in short supply for the rest of the year.’

Bulmer also believes that used car values could firm up or even rise if retail demand becomes very strong.
