Car retailer chooses CAP

STARTUP vehicle sourcing platform motorseeker.com has chosen CAP as its strategic data partner.

The web-based new and used car business launched on 1 July. Its promise is to source any model of car or van, new or used, in seconds.

Why is this of interest? Because they promise to do it not only for retail customers, but also for non-franchise affinity partner dealers.


This provides the ability to widen an offer by sourcing any new or used car for their own customers. The Motorseeker.com service offers instant sourcing for cars and light commercials.

The business plans to initially achieve 20 new and 40 used vehicle sales per month.

CAP was selected, says general manager Lee French, because of its reputation. ‘We wanted to give customers the power to configure and source any new or used car without the inconvenience and pressure of entering a showroom, so accurate and reliable data was essential to our strategy. CAP data is recommended as the best in the market for our requirements.’
