CitNow update gives users greater control and ease of use

Time 1:49 pm, January 31, 2019

CitNow has released its winter update, adding a raft of new features to its suite of apps, including its innovative web app.

The quarterly update adds a host of new features, including Web Shotlist and Theme Builder, focusing on empowering retail staff with more flexibility, greater control and a simpler, quicker user experience.

The update includes several enhancements to CitNow’s web app. The intuitive solution, which helps retailer staff seamlessly capture and upload high-quality digital marketing assets, has been made even simpler and more efficient with the new web shotlist feature.

Often retailers are short of space, and capturing proper marketing assets of a vehicle requires moving it around multiple times. Responding to customer feedback, the web shotlist feature solves this by allowing retailers to customise the order in which they take shots.

The addition offers retailers greater flexibility when using the web app, minimising the time it takes to get a vehicle online and on the market.

A default web thumbnail option has also been added to the web app, giving users the ability to automatically upload an image with every listing, making the process more time-efficient as well as ensuring a consistent image quality and adherence to OEM guidelines.

Also part of the quarterly release is the brand-new ‘Theme Builder’ which provides retailers with even greater creative control over their video presentations by introducing a host of customisable options.

Simple to use and modify, ‘Theme Builder’ is ideal for independent retailers and small independent groups, giving them the ability to tailor the logo, page structure, font, colour palate, social share links, location map and the company name to their preference.

Additionally, CitNow has worked to further align its sales and web apps, giving users of both products the ability to seamlessly pull web assets into their sales VPP (video presentation page), resulting in a richer customer viewing experience.

Colin Tinto, CTO of CitNow, said: ‘The importance of efficiency and ease of use in the creation process for retailers can’t be understated. Through the various new features, retailers can deliver a service of the highest quality in a minimal time frame.

‘In our second quarterly update, we have listened closely to our customers to improve our offering even further, empowering retailers with the best tools possible while making them easy to use.’

Ollie Parsons, head of sales and client services UK, added: ‘Web users already benefit from camera-quality visual assets with fast, wireless uploads. We’ve now added even greater flexibility to how retailers can collect assets to help them work in the most efficient way.

‘We’re really excited about how our web app can revolutionise the way retailers get their vehicles to market and these recent developments will make it even easier.’
