Cleaning products are incredibly important to the valeting teams in dealerships of all shapes and sizes.
No customer wants to buy a dirty car so the products these companies make give dealers a helping hand to shift the grime.
But Autoglym has an enviable reputation for making high-quality products that make the car cleaning job that bit easier, and came out on top this year with dealers praising those very products.
‘We are completely over the moon to win,’ Autoglym’s Mark Docherty told James Batchelor in the video at the top of this post.
‘To be voted by our customers – the dealers – rather than a panel just gives so much more weight to the award.
‘To be able to win it again this year in spite of everything that has happened in 2020 is fantastic.
‘Being able to keep supplying our customers with the products they need in their business in the most trying year anyone of us can remember, and to be thought of as a valuable supplier of car cleaning products, really means so much.’
Docherty added: ‘We are so proud of everyone at Autoglym who have managed to keep the business in the best condition possible for our colleagues on furlough, but also launching more products than we have ever launched, such as sanitisers and enhanced cleaners.’
Looking ahead to next year, Docherty jokes ‘everyone has got as many cleaners and sanitisers as they can stomach’, but business is returning to normal.
Autoglym has a firm eye on 2021 and plans to launch more exciting products.
