Dealer gives customers cash towards their new vehicle

Time 7:33 am, November 7, 2013

KiaYOU won’t always come across dealers eager to give money away, but to coincide with anniversary celebrations Hawkins Motor Group will be giving its customers money towards their new vehicles.

Next week, Hawkins Motor Group will run its ‘Hawkins Help To Buy Week’, which will see all seven dealerships across Cornwall, including St Stephen, Penryn, Hayle and Blackwater, take part in the scheme.

According to This is Cornwall, the promotion, which marks the group’s 80th birthday, will see each dealership give anything from £250 to £1,000 towards a buyer’s deposit.

Or instead of a cash amount, Hawkins will provide buyers with an additional bonus of a three-month deferred payment on selected finance offers on a limited number of vehicles, on top of the standard part exchange price.

Director at Hawkins Motor Group, Johnny Hawkins, told the newspaper: ‘We want to continue to celebrate our 80th birthday in a memorable way. What better way to do that than by giving people money towards their next car.’

He added: ‘Our customers will have the opportunity to drive a new car for Christmas and not have to pay a penny until February 2014 – it may not fit under the tree or in your stocking, but it can be waiting on your driveway.’
