Dealership honours its staff with awards

Time 9:18 am, June 3, 2016

EMPLOYEES at a Mitsubishi dealership in Exeter have received awards for their outstanding work.

Accountant and company secretary Diane Slater was named partner of the year at Livery Dole Mitsubishi, while Annette Trevor, who works in accounts, was runner-up. In addition, sales co-ordinator Becky Wall was given an award for partner of the quarter.

The dealership in Trusham Road, Marsh Barton, is run as a partnership, much like the John Lewis chain, with each staff member getting a share of the profits, and each year managing director Hayden Williams awards prizes as a way of thanking the team.

Hayden said: ‘These awards have gone to three exceptional employees who have gone the extra mile to improve the business and the customer experience. The awards are intended to encourage our staff to fulfil their potential and they are recognition of a job well done.’

Diane, who has implemented a number of new processes in her 20 months with the company, won a luxury weekend away to London. All three winners received a bottle of champagne and a certificate.

She said: ‘It was a bit of a shock to win but it’s nice to know you are appreciated.’

Runner-up Annette added: ‘I’m chuffed and it’s nice that the awards went to people who are working behind the scenes.’

Becky said: ‘I was really surprised and very pleased. All my colleagues are really pleased for me too, which is nice.’
