If you’re not sure what to buy the love of your life to put a bit of sparkle back into your relationship, how about… a diamond-encrusted Ford Kuga.
Jennings Ford Direct spent two months – and more money than they care to think about – producing a vehicle so ostentatious that even Premiership footballers and Page 3 girls would blush.
The motor dealers is offering to encrust any newly-purchased Jennings Ford, or any vehicle diamond lovers already own, in a mixture of diamonds and crystals. And the cost? A sparkling £1 million.
Jennings Ford Direct says the new bodywork is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean, the diamond paint-job won’t rust or tarnish and is scratch resistant. Each diamond, it says, is painstakingly applied by hand by a dedicated team of workers, and the job will take more than two months to complete.
David Walker, the sales manager behind the creation, said: ‘Who says Fords aren’t glamorous? Bringing more glitz to the north east has always been an ambition of mine, and with this ultra-glamorous optional extra, now I can!’
