Dragon2000 launches new car finance calculator

Time 10:39 am, January 17, 2018

DRAGON2000 has just launched a new finance calculator feature within its dealer management system, allowing dealers to easily produce representative finance examples for a stock vehicle for potential customers.

With four out of five new cars in the UK being bought using a credit product, dealers need to be able to quickly and efficiently show customers various finance deals on offer.

The new DragonDMS 2018 finance calculator allows dealers to pull finance figures through into the deal stacker feature, where dealers can build deals for their prospects and produce a full breakdown of the offer, which can then be converted to a sale without having to re-key any of the information.

Finance calculator defaults can be set for deposit percentage, term, admin fees, flat rate and option-to-purchase fees, but all of these can be adjusted when using the calculator to produce tailored representative examples for their prospective customer, making the whole process quick and easy for sales staff.

Karen McKenzie, operations manager at Dragon2000, said: ‘We have developed the new finance calculator, following feedback from dealers. We know that they want to drive sales and improve efficiencies and our new finance calculator will enable them to speed up processes and convert more customers looking for car finance deals.

‘As record numbers of vehicles are being bought on finance, dealers need to be able to talk customers through various finance options.

‘Having a finance calculator within the DMS makes this easy for dealers to introduce finance offers in the early stages of the buying process with the customer, and saves sales staff time as they can build the deal all in one place.’
